summertime

Jon and I are having a great summer so far, and we're excited for the upcoming month of vacations. Next week our August travels begin and we kiss Provo goodbye to spend some quality time at the beach! We will be in Mexico, Lake Powell, and Newport in August before we go back to school. So far this summer we have been to Phoenix to visit Matt and Becca, Palm Springs to visit Grandma and Grandpa Alexander, San Francisco with the Nielsen's and Nields, and Newport with the Crosby's, Henriksen's, and Nields. (Not to mention girls camp and a couple of weeks spent babysitting the Hanks cousins.) We love vacationing with our great family and think that our lives are pretty sweet right now! In between all of our vacations we manage to get some work done too... Jon is using his economics and accounting skills as he works for his dad, learning a lot about owning a small business. I nanny for a couple of different families who each have a little boy under two. We love hanging out and have just undertaken some home improvement crafts that keep us busy. As for now... it's Sunday afternoon nap time!
