Mary painted on 4 paintings, and decided she was finished after 2.5 straight hours. I pretended to paint alongside of her, but I was just mostly watching her intense focus and decisiveness. Kids are amazingly talented artists right from the start. I hope I can prevent that creativity from being stifled by outside influences.
[Side note: Mary is feeling much better, and will continue to be tested weekly for any signs of kidney damage. So far, she has been all clear. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers.]

Lisa--this is so cute. It is so fun to see your kid love something you do. Your Sunday post is so cute too...I just wish I could squish Ashton's cheeks in person!
